Adacta becomes a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner
Ljubljana, June 10th – the Ljubljana based Adacta d.o.o., a provider and creator of banking and telecommunication solutions and the main implementer of the Navision Business Information Systems in the region became an authorised software development Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. The title is only awarded by Microsoft Corporation to those companies that have proved superb qualifications and expertise in a single or several specialised areas of development and provision of solutions based on Microsoft technology. In Slovenia, there are 96 companies with an Authorised Microsoft Partner status, but only nine »golden« partners at this time. Adacta is the only Microsoft Certified Partner in Slovenia for software development and the first Slovenian company granted the title based on its own local knowledge.
Adacta acquired the prestigious status of Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Software Products by meeting the exacting conditions of Microsoft Corporation, including successful accomplishment of at least three reference projects in the software development field. In order to acquire the prestigious title, application developers must have their own Microsoft certified product such as "Telefonski imenik Slovenije" (Slovenia's Public Telephone Directory), which is developed by Adacta for Telekom Slovenije d.d.. This product officially acquired the »Certified for Windows 2000 Professional« title and thus became the first Slovenian Microsoft Windows certified application. To acquire the status, a company must also employ an adequate number of highly qualified experts with MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer) or MCSD (Microsoft Certified System Developer) titles. Adacta currently employs two MCSDs and five MCPs (Microsoft Certified Professional). Adacta is at the same time the first Slovenian company to be awarded the software development Gold Microsoft Partner status as a result of exclusively Slovenian knowledge, its own development and solutions. In attaining this status Adacta has gained a software development key-player role in Slovenia and worldwide.
The biggest advantages of Microsoft Gold Partners are mainly the immediate access to the newest Microsoft technologies and products, direct access to technical support and exclusive support of partners' marketing and sales initiatives. The golden partnership programme was established at the end of 2001 and represents an upgrade of other certified status and the highest level of partnership on a national level.
Adacta d.o.o.'s main business activities are software development, IT and business consulting and business solutions' (ERP) implementation and maintenance; it is best known in public for its effective and technically superb information solutions, mostly provided for publishers, phonebooks and business directory publishers as well as providers of company assessment information.
