Telecommunications
Today, operators of telecommunications are focusing on value-added services as the potential new source of revenues, many of them extending their sales range with non-core services. Adacta’s Telecommunications solutions provide a proven platform that allows the operators to flexibly introduce such new services.
Many fixed-line operators have introduced new information services to their customers. We have seen many mobile operators deploying content provisioning systems and information portals. A number of non-telco companies also want to seize the opportunities offered by the existing telecommunications infrastructure and are entering the field.
In order to provide these value-added services, reliable and flexible infrastructure systems must be established. These must be closely integrated with the existing core IT systems. At the same time, they must provide an open platform to host as wide a variety of relevant services as possible. These are some of the design guidelines that Adacta’s Team had to follow when developing our telecommunication products.
Adacta’s main fields of focus in the Telecommunications Group are integrated directory management systems, information publishing solutions and mobile payments systems and include:
- AdDIR – back office information system, which supports all the activities and processes in the publishing business;
- AdAssist – integrates with, and enables, the operation of directory assistance call centers;
- AIPS – solution for value added information publishing through paper and electronic means;
- Paynet – complete mobile payment processing centre in particular suitable to support small and mid-sized payments.
